There are so many lead sources out there. But how many are expensive? Unqualified? What about very little response? I personally want to spend my hard earned money on marketing that works.

What has been proven to work? Postcard marketing allows me to build relationships with clients that I have been working with, used to work with, and ones that I would like to work with.

It is so true in any business that we take care of the people that we would like working with us. People that we would like to receive referrals from. How many times per day are we bombarded with advertisements? I see them on my drive to the office, and on my way home. I see them on my television and on the books that I read. I see them on my favorite websites.

What about taking the time out to tell our loved ones and those that we truly appreciate that we do really care about them? It feels amazing when an old friend calls or sends a card. Occassionally we all receive emails from old friends and so much of the time, they want something from us.

When we send a postcard just letting someone know that we are thinking about them, wow. How many people would actually call you back and ask what you have been doing? At that time it is so easy for me to tell them all about my business. It is as easy as that.

Postcard marketing is definitely working for me.

Wouldn't it be difficult to maintain a successful relationship with your spouse if the only time you recognized the other's existance was at Christmas? It would not be long until they sought appreciation and personal attention elsewhere. All relationships require attention with a genuine interest in the other persons well being. If all you ever talk about is yourself then your relationship will go bad.

What would make us think that Postcard Marketing is any different than a personal relationship. Let me take a moment to discuss the similarities.

  • Both a client and a friend have needs, wants and goals.
  • Neither like having a relationship with someone that is self centered, self-promoting, or insincere.
  • Both would agree that a good relationship will require personal attention and continual contact.

So how do we get our past clients to want to refer us business? It is quite simple really, continual follow up on a personal level: not self-promoting, what can you do for me, but a genuine expressed interest in your customers well being. When a special occasion arises you are the first one to congratulate or appreciate them through the personal touch of a handwritten card. And we all know what these special occassions are: Birthdays, christmas, anniversaries and so on.

Massive amounts of money could be made if we would only view our past customers as a money tree and with every home we sell we grew another branch. You don't have to have a green thumb to know the best way to grow a tree is through constant watering and continual sunlight. The sunlight and water could just as easily be appreciation and gratitude for your money tree.

Now I know you are saying "I have heard similar stories hundreds of times but I don't have the time to send cards on a specific date for all my past clients. Consiquently I am not receiving the referrals I need."

Why do I use Send Out Cards?

  • It's cheaper than buying a card from the store. I pay about a dollar a card plus postage and I'm hard pressed to find a card in the store for less than three dollars.
  • It's faster as I can do everything from my computer, wherever I happen to be.
  • It's less work - I don't have to print the card, stuff the envelope, find a stamp or drop it in the mail. Send Out Cards does all that for me.
  • The cards are written in my own handwriting, using my own signature which makes them really personal
  • It's really to make a custom card using my own photos or to include my own photos on the inside
